"Very disappointing experience at the Marcel Robin State Farm Insurance Agent location. I’ve had ongoing issues with this office, but my most recent interaction was especially frustrating and unprofessional. I contacted the office regarding a reimbursement receipt that had been pending for over two weeks without any update. When I called to follow up, I spoke with an employee named Kyle who was extremely rude and dismissive. Rather than providing assistance, he refused to let me speak with anyone else and insisted he was the only person available. Anyone else would have to call me back at later time, which turned out to be untrue. After I mentioned I would be coming in person, I was suddenly helped by another team member, Jose, who was professional, respectful, and able to clearly explain the situation. The contrast in service was striking. Kyle initially told me the process would take 5/7 days. When I questioned why nothing had been received after two weeks, he abruptly changed the timeline to 2/3 additional weeks without offering any real explanation. Although I acknowledged that he was the person I had confirmed receiving the receipt that day, he denied it entirely. Which I understand he wouldn't really remember as it was to weeks ago. Regardless if he did or not NO ONE processed the claim provided 2 weeks prior. As a customer I have a right to be frustrated I did not disrespect him or yell, all I asked was to speak with someone else. His tone throughout the interaction was unhelpful and unnecessarily combative. Unfortunately, this experience is consistent with other issues I’ve had at this location over the years. At this point, I’ll be taking my business to a different State Farm office. I strongly recommend that management address the customer service concerns here especially with regard to that person's behavior, which was completely unacceptable for someone in a client-facing role. I know customer service isn’t easy, but his attitude was way out of line and unacceptable."
